Kaweka 1 Serve Pouches

The Kaweka Food Company Ltd has undergone considerable growth over the last year.

To those who have supported us over this period we owe much gratitude.

This has allowed us to do many things we wanted to from day one, but could not without the necessary support;

• We have redesigned the packaging to be more retail friendly
• We are on TV ! For the next six months at least
• You will see us in many publications; Cuisine, House and Garden, Essentially Food et al.
• A redesign of our website to attract a wider market: www.kawekafoods.co.nz
• We have a presence at multiple Tradeshows nationwide
• We have been successful in entering the Supermarket trade nationally (over 80 so far)

Because of necessities in manufacture we must move all our packaging to the advertised format which we arrived at after many focus groups and live tastings. We have data from over 4500 buyers.

The new pack format is:

• a standing bag-in-box
• The pouch is now microwaveable
• 350gm net weight (up from 275gm)
• Highly branded with clear product shots and colours to define variants on the shelf (able to be seen on our website)
• Now found in many New Worlds and Pak’nSaves at a price point that is more competitive than we could offer direct

Unfortunately The Kaweka Food Company Ltd must exit direct deliveries to householders. Due to cost of freight by size of deliveries, this method of getting to market has become too expensive to continue.

We apologise for discontinuing this service, but we can no longer carry on and hope to survive into another year with this kind of overhead, such is the cost of this operation now.

Kaweka availability will still be on our website as to retailers who are stocking our range of products, Supermarkets, Camping Stores and others.
