All our meal recipes are developed and tested by qualified chefs before being subjected to even more rigorous taste-testing by the entire Kaweka team and their families. We all love good food so the whole Kaweka team’s opinions matter. And we also taste-test using consumer research panels to ensure we get the taste, texture, ratios of ingredients and overall quality just right for you.

We searched for a high quality beer to use in our Beef & Ale Casserole and discovered a fantastic local Hawke’s Bay micro-brewed beer, Limburg that fitted our needs perfectly. Limburg is made locally by folks who really care about what they’re doing – at Kaweka we definitely relate to that!

The process is simple and not too dissimilar to how canned food is made. It ensures every meal retains its succulent natural flavours with no artificial flavouring, colours or preservatives.
